Funeral Service for Yvonne Nancy Two Stars, Ideya Inagjin Win, Standing Light Woman, 57, of Sisseton, SD will be held on Thursday, December 24, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Sisseton Wahpeton Community Center, Agency Village, SD with John Cloud III, Senior Catechist, Gerald Heminger Jr., Chris Galcatcher and St. Mary's Episcopal Lay Readers officiating. Organist will be Billy Kohl with special music by Butch Felix and High Trail Drum Group. Pallbearers will be Bill Owen, Glen Fineday, Tyrone Bearhead, Joe Owen, Dennis Owen Jr., Duane Fineday, Mike McCafferty and Leslie Campbell Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Louella Cloud, Exzilda Seaboy, Chyrel DeCoteau, Cynthia Smith, Ann German, Rhonda Kampeska, Marsha Renville, Cleone Brant, Nadine Fredricks, Janel Many Lightnings, Mary Higheagle, Corrine Feather and Myrna Thompson, and all of Nancy's Family and Friends. Interment will be in St. Mary's Episcopal Cemetery, Agency Village, SD. There will be a wake service on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. and an all night wake on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at the Sisseton Wahpeton Community Center, Agency Village, SD. Yvonne Nancy Two Stars was born on September 20, 1952 in Pierre, SD to John and Estelline (Bernard) Two Stars Sr. Yvonne attended school in Sisseton, SD and graduated from Sisseton, SD. Following high school she attended Interstate Business College in Fargo, ND. She went to Minneapolis, MN and worked as a telemarketer. Nancy worked as an assistant manager of the Dakota Nation Development Corporation. She liked to travel, visiting Oregon and California and a number of other states. She liked to write, text, she loved the sunrises and sunsets, and watching Star Trek and CSI. She liked the Joyce Meyer Ministry, and she did her daily devotions. Yvonne passed away unexpectedly on December 21, 2009 at the Coteau Des Prairies Hospital, Sisseton, SD.
Yvonne is survived by her daughter, Randi Baker, of Sisseton, SD, two sisters, Barbara and husband Milton Owen of Sisseton, SD and Patricia Bernard of Peever, SD; one brother, John and wife, Dani Two Stars Jr. of Peever, SD; two granddaughters, Justus Two Stars of Sioux Falls, SD and Kenzie Bearhead of Sisseton, SD, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, one son Jai; two sisters, Shirley Blacksmith Owen and Arvena Two Stars.
