Memorial Service for Willis I. Quinn, 56, of Sioux Falls, SD will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Community Center, Agency Village, SD with Jr. Heminger, CLP and the Episcopal Lay Readers officiating. Special Music by Edward and Misty Dawn Kirk and Hand Drum by Tyrell Sheilds and Jeff Quickbear. Urn bearers will be Saige, Teanna and Asia Quinn. Honorary Urn bearers will be Donna, Suzie, Phoebe, Freda, Anna, John Boy, Misty Dawn, LaShannon, Jr., William, Dustin, Moonlight, Raymond, Autumn, Trisha, Angela, Christine, Kevin, Lori and the rest of his beloved living family. Military Rites provided by the Sisseton Wahpeton Kit Fox Society. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton SD is in charge of Funeral arrangements.
Willis Isaac Quinn 56, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota passed away April 25, 2017 at his home. Willis was born July 11, 1960 in Boise, Idaho to Clifford John Quinn and Dorothy Rose Atkinson-Quinn. Willis attended school in Britton, SD and went on to obtain his G.E.D. after serving in the U.S. Navy from July 15, 1977 to July 28, 1978 and was stationed outside of Cuba until his departure. Willis enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He lived majority of his life alongside His Girls in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He usually was always working in his spare time at many various jobs. He was capable of many job trades. His main priority was to make sure His Family was taken of. He loved his entire family. He came to visit his siblings as much as he could, he was a very family oriented man. He was quite the Jokester and loved to laugh and make people laugh. A very easy going fella who got along with everyone. He also very much loved his drink, a functioning alcoholic despite what people may have thought. He was a good man. A great Father, A loving Brother, He will be forever remembered and always missed.
Willis was the loving father of one son, Travis Hanson, four daughters, Teirany Quinn, Saige Quinn, Asia Quinn, and Teanna Quinn. He was an amazingly grandfather to Skyler, Breydan, Jaycee, Isaac, Tyrell Jr., Titus, Karmaleigh, and His precious little Keano.
He is survived by his siblings Lance Atkinson, Phoebe Quinn Thompson, Susan Quinn, Donna Quinn-Thompson, Anna M. Quinn, and John Sargaent.
He was preceded in death by both his Mother and Father, his brothers Richard Atkinson, and Eldred Quinn and one sister, Frieda Robertson.
