Memorial Service for Willis E. Keeble, 76 of Irene, South Dakota formerly of Sisseton, SD will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Valorie Augustson Officiating.  Special music by Sirone Spolar.  Urn Bearer will be Paul Keeble. Inurnment will be in the St. James's Episcopal Cemetery, Enemy Swim, and SD.  There will be visitation one hour prior to the Memorial Service at the church.  The Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Willis Eugene Keeble was born on November 13, 1945 to Jonas Keeble Sr. and Stella (Sherman) Keeble.  He grew up around Pickerel Lake area.  Willis never had a family life.  He spent his time in boarding school and Flandreau Indian High School where de developed health problems and was sent to a Yankton Hospital.  After discharge he spent his life living in assisted living homes at Yankton, Rapid City and then at Sunset Manor Avera at Irene, SD. He had contract with his family, enjoyed their visits, talking on the phone, sending pictures to his brothers, asking how things are at Pickerel Lake now days, and remembering some of the Keeble families.  Willis passed away on September 3, 2022 at Sunset Manor Avera, Irene, South Dakota

Willis is survived by his brothers, Jonas Keeble Jr. of Old Agency Village, SD, Franklin Keeble Sr. of Grenville, SD and a sister Harriet Keeble of Watertown, SD.; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Willis was preceded in death by his parents.
