Memorial Service for W. Turk White, 53, of Sioux Falls, SD will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at Long Hollow District Center, Sisseton, SD with Jr. Heminger Officiating. Pianist will be Billy Kohl and Drum Group will be Buffalo Lake Sundance. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Turk's family and friends. All night wake service will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Long Hollow District Center. The Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Turk was born on December 3, 1962 to Gary and Gladys (Lufkins) White in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended school in Aberdeen, SD and Rapid City, SD. After his education he joined the Marines then relocated to Sioux Falls, SD where he met Brenda Baker-Austin and married her on September 16, 1995 his best friend and companion for the past 27 years. He has spent most of his life living in Sioux Falls, SD and worked as a roofer for MJ Dalson, Guarantee Roofing and BHI.
He enjoyed playing pool, watching NASCAR especially #24 Jeff Gordon, watching the Miami Dolphins and fishing. He was very supportive of his son's hobby of stock car racing. He loved watching his grandchildren and had a love for music.
Turk is survived by his wife, Brenda White of Sioux Falls, SD; his son, Skyler (Carissa) White of Sioux Falls, SD; step children, Aaron Austin of Sioux Falls, SD and Staci Graff of Sioux Falls, SD; sisters, Memoree White of Sioux Falls, SD, Vanessa Beaulieau of Minneapolis, MN, Jackie Beetem of New Effington, SD and Tammie Redday of Hankinson, ND; brother, Robert Beetem of New Effington, SD; grandchildren Kymani, Canyon, Koda, Cody, Brittany, Nathan, Nicholas, Serena, Noah, Jayden, Mitchell and Charley; mother in-law Kathryn Baker; sister in-laws Laurie Reiter and Cindy Clifford
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Marvin "Chap" Maskewits and Brian Beetem.
