Funeral Service for Virginia Sylvia Two Hearts, 71, of Veblen, South Dakota will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Family Life Assembly of God, Sisseton, South Dakota with Pastor Vern Donnell officiating. Pianist will be Sarah Aadland and music by June Evenson. Pall Bearers will be Michael Smith, John Shieck, Roland Heminger, Todd St. John, Wade DuMarce, Edward Lavallie, Lindon Haug, Dale Lohness, Gary Lohness. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Ramona (Isaac) St. John, Barbara Heminger, Cathy Two Hearts, Becky Two Hearts, Patty Two Hearts, Carol & Kermit Walking Eagle, Sharon Johnson & Family, Edmond Johnson Sr., Opal & Romeo Renville, Juanita Mayes & Family, Marcella Haug & Family, Margaret Lufkins & Family, Valerie Paul & Grandkids, Tammy Grey Water, Smith Family from Fort Totten, ND, Auntie Cora Littlewind & Family, All of Virginia's Relatives & Friends. Wake Service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. at the Church. Interment will be in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Sisseton, SD. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of funeral arrangements.
Virginia Sylvia Isaac was born on September 27, 1951 in Sisseton, SD to Steven Roy and Lucinda Isaac. She attended grade school at Wahpeton Indian School and Flandreau Indian School. Following her education she worked as a housekeeper at Devils Lake, ND. Virginia was united in marriage to Bernard Two Hearts on December 23, 1993 at New Effington, SD. She was a homemaker. Virginia passed away on October 15, 2022 at Tekakwitha Living Center, Sisseton, SD. .
Virginia is survived by her husband Bernard Two Hearts of Veblen, SD; one son Michael Smith of Fort. Totten, ND; two step-daughters Krista Two Hearts of Bismarck, ND and Jessica Two Hearts of FortYates, ND; 8 grandchildren; one aunt Bernice Johnson, three cousin Ramona (Isaac) St. John, Shirley Isaac, and Shirley Demarrias; nephews Todd St. John and Travis St. John; nieces Jewel DeMarrias and Latisha Stavick.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Steven Roy and Lucinda Isaac; Maternal Grandparents Sara (Pan) and John Isaac; brothers Clifford, Alphone and Leonard Isaac; aunt Ida (Roy) Littlewind. and Esther LaFromboise.
