There will be visitation at the Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. to noon.  Dinner to follow at St. Peter's Reception Hall.  Victoria passed away on October 24, 2021 in Sisseton, SD.

Victoria Jean Howell was born on February 3, 1969 in Columbus, Ohio to Myrna Wounded Head (Doud) and William Howell. Victoria had two sisters; Audrey and Adrienne and one brother; Myron. She was raised by her mother Myrna and her step father Dale Doud. She grew up in Rapid City until they moved to Sisseton, South Dakota in 1984. While growing up she enjoyed running track, playing basketball and participating in band for Rapid City Central High. In 1986, she met Anthony Wolfe, and they then had four children. Three daughters; Vanessa, Julie, Jade and one son; Jacob. Victoria and Anthony had lived in Moorhead, Minnesota with their family until returning to Sisseton in 1999. Victoria had numerous jobs throughout her life and easily made friends at every job she was at. Victoria enjoyed music, visiting with friends and family, and playing a good machine. Victoria became a grandmother for the first time in 2011 and she took on that role very seriously. She helped raise her granddaughter Tianna. She later became a grandmother for a second and third time to granddaughters Audrianna, and Beatrix.

Victoria loved spending time with her granddaughters. She enjoyed making tea for them, playing with them, and teaching them all that she could. Victoria enjoyed life and tried to seize the day and made the most of it. Victoria especially enjoyed spending time with her little sister and best friend Adrienne. Victoria passed away on October 24, 2021 in Sisseton South Dakota.

Victoria is survived by her children, Vanessa Wolfe of Watertown, SD, Julie Wolfe of Watertown, SD, Jade Botello of Sisseton, SD and Jacob (Jerrilyn) Wolfe of Sisseton, SD; Grandchildren Tianna Wolfe, Audrianna Flute, Beatrix Wolfe; Sisters Audrey (Troy) Savageau of Minneapolis, MN, Adrienne Howell of Watertown, SD; Brother Myron (Stephanie) Doud of Sisseton, SD; Charley "Girly" Richards, Jessa Richards, Nevaeh Doud, Maya Doud all of Sisseton  Nieces Naomi Holmes (Larelle) of Minneapolis, MN, Samantha Savageau of Minneapolis, MN, Autumn Lindblad of Watertown, SD, Jasmine (Donald) Frost of Sisseton, SD, Briana Doud of Sisseton, SD; Nephews Dale (Leah) Howell of Watertown, SD, Skylare Howell of Watertown, SD, Nicholas Doud of Sisseton, SD; Cousins William Short Horn, Victor Short Horn, Pearl Hopkins and Veronica Hopkins of Kyle, SD,Carey Short Horn of Kyle, SD  and 11 great nieces and nephews. Victoria was preceded in death by her parents Myrna (Dale) Doud and William Howell; grandparents Victoria Apple and Joshua Wounded Head; Aunt Myrnette Short Horn; brother in law James Lindblad; cousins Joann Short Horn, Larry Short Horn, Marla Short Horn, Donna Short Horn, and great-nephew Jamison Carpenter-Lindblad.
