Trevor was born on April 14, 1966 in San Francisco, California to parents Duane and Joanne (O'Connell) Pratt. He was the oldest of four boys with Donovan, Josh, and Lance being his younger brothers. After a few years in San Francisco, his family moved to Sisseton, South Dakota. Trevor graduated from Sisseton High School in 1984. For a short time, he went to college at Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Trevor loved the game of basketball. He was an outstanding 3-point shooter and could jump out of the gym even at his 5'11" stature. He played on traveling basketball teams with friends local to the Sisseton area. The boys from Sisseton would travel to places like Fort Yates ND, Grand Forks ND, Brainerd MN, and Cass Lake MN to name a few. They first went by the team name Max's Mini Mart and they continued to travel locally and play in a men's league in Watertown while Trevor was well into his 30's. During his time playing basketball, Trevor met Rochelle "Shelly" Amos and they shared two daughters together Alicia and April. Trevor then met Susan Fleury and they shared two children Nicole and Jamison. He was so proud of all four of his children and their accomplishments. Trevor enjoyed watching Jamison play basketball and beamed with pride watching him on the court. One of his proudest moments in life was watching Jamison make school history by qualifying for the 2020 State A Basketball Tournament by beating the Pine Ridge Thorpes in Pierre, SD. He also loved spending time with his grandson Tel and helping out his daughter Nicole whenever he could - they'd frequently make trips to Watertown and Fargo together. Trevor's favorite pastime was watching the Golden State Warriors on TV and was even able to watch them play in person against the Minnesota Timberwolves a few times throughout the years. He enjoyed going to concerts with family and had an ear for music - he never passed up a chance to listen to a good tune and you'd often find him supporting his brother Josh while he played in the band Eclipse in the '90s. Spending time and having good conversation with his brothers and friends also made him very happy. Trevor had lost a lot of loved ones in his short lifetime and carried heartache with him. The weight of that sadness was finally lifted off his shoulders as he left peacefully to be with the Lord and was reunited with his loving father, mother, and younger brother for eternity. Trevor Stacey Pratt of Sisseton, South Dakota passed away at the age of 55 on December 22, 2021 in Fargo, North Dakota with his daughter Nicole and son Jamison by his side.
Trevor is survived by four children Alicia (Wayne) Cloud of Peever, SD, April Amos of Peever, SD, Nicole Pratt of Sisseton, SD and Jamison Pratt of Sisseton,SD; and two brothers Donovan (Kim) Pratt of Sisseton, SD and Joshua Pratt of Sioux Falls, SD; five grandchildren Tracy Eastman, Adaleigh Cloud, Synjin Cloud, Xander Cloud and Tel Iverson.
Trevor was preceded in death by his parents Duane and Joanne (O'Connell) Pratt and one brother Lance Pratt.
