Travis John DeCoteau

Funeral Service for Travis John DeCoteau, 41, of Arlington, South Dakota, will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 at the Big Coulee District Center, Peever, South Dakota at 1:00 P.M. Officiating the service will be CRE Gerald Heminger Jr.  Pianist will be Billy Kohl. Pall Bearers will be Thomas DeCoteau Jr., Roland Erhardt, Nathan Kutter, Francis Mangalow, Brandon Mangalaw, and Stephanie Erhardt.  Interment will be in the Ascension Presbyterian Cemetery, Peever, South Dakota following the service. Travis passed away peacefully on January 23, 2023 at his mother's home in Arlington, South Dakota. The Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Travis was born in Rapid City, South Dakota on February 21, 1981 to Thomas William DeCoteau Sr. and June Marie (Pahl) Jarman. The family moved from Rapid City to Colorado in 1984.  He graduated High School in Colorado in 1998.  After school, Travis worked at various places in the food industry.  In 1999, he moved to Aberdeen.  After living there awhile, he moved to the Sioux Falls area in 2009. Travis liked football, trivia games, drawing (art), bowling, camping, card games, and listening to music. His love of cooking lead to a career in food service.

Travis is survived by his mother June Marie (Pahl) Jarman; sisters Stephanie (Roland) Erhardt, Heather (Mark) Fairchild, and Christine Jarman; brothers Thomas DeCoteau Jr., Brandon Jarman, and William DeCoteau; and various Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins.

Travis is preceded in death by his father Thomas William DeCoteau Sr. and his brother Dustin Jarman.
