Timothy James Sullivan Sr., 70, of Watertown, South Dakota passed away on October 4, 2022 at his home in Watertown, SD. There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 2:00 P.M at the St. James Episcopal Church in Waubay, South Dakota.  Lunch will be served after the service. Officiating the service will be Sr. Catechist Valorie Augustson and Ray Rouillard. The urn bearer will be Shawn Sullivan. Honorary Urn bearers will be Louis Sullivan, TeeJay Sullivan, Talan Sullivan, Chris Owens, Alex Owens, Matthew Smith, Tristan Shepherd, Blaine Shepherd, Geralyn (JJ) Marks, Vincent Shepherd, Kerry Sullivan, Tyler Sullivan, and Travis Shepherd. Inurnment will be at the St. James Episcopal Cemetery in Waubay, South Dakota at a later date. The Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Timothy James Sullivan Sr. was born on February 7, 1952 in Nyack, New York to Mary (Colwell) and Clifford Sullivan. He was raised in New York and then moved to Sisseton, South Dakota with his mother and father, sister Shawn, sister Kathleen, and brother Jeffery Sullivan. He graduated from Sisseton High School in 1971. Timothy married Jacqueline "Suetie" Dumarce BirdsBill and had two sons Leslie and Timothy Jr, and two stepchildren Candace and Conrad Amos. He married Georgette (Kongi) Sullivan and had two sons Kerry and Tyler Sullivan, and daughter Shawn Sullivan. Timothy then married Buffy BlueBird and had his daughter Kimamila Sullivan Eden. He also had son Travis Shepherd with Cindy Shepherd. He was an iron worker for most of his life and worked for various construction companies as a carpenter and masonry. In 2020 he retired and went to live in Watertown. He loved to go fishing, drink his beer, and smoke his weed. Timothy loved the outdoors, gardening, planting flowers, thrifting, spending time with his grandchildren, rummaging, and surfing. Timothy was a very good father and Grandfather and he loved his children. He will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, and ex-wife Georgette Sullivan.

Timothy is survived by his children; Leslie Sullivan, Timothy Sullivan Jr., Kerry Sullivan, Shawn Sullivan, Tyler Sullivan, Travis Shepherd, Kimamila Eden, and Candace Irish; his brother Jeff Sullivan and sisters Kathleen (Kerry) Smith and Shawn Sullivan; 25 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Timothy is preceded in death by his mother and father, step-son Conrad Amos and granddaughter Jessica Kater.
