Memorial Service for Timothy John Parker, 63, of Sisseton, SD will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD with Filmore Simon CLP officiating. Pianist will be Billy Kohl. Urn Bear will be Donovan Pratt.  Honorary Urn bearers will all of Tim's co-workers at Dakota Connection.  Inurnment will be in the Sisseton Wahpeton Sioux Veterans Cemetery, Sisseton, SD with military rites by the Kit Fox Society. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Timothy John Parker was born on May 26, 1956 in Bad Krozingen, Germany to Bernard and Naomi (Barker) Parker.   He attended school and graduated from high school in Quincy, WA.  Following graduation he joined the United States Army and served from March 1975 to March 1979.  He received the Good Conduct Medal, Marksman Qualification Badge and the Expert Qualification Badge.  After his discharge from the Army, Tim worked for the Navy in Washington in maintenance.  In 2002 he moved to Sisseton, SD and worked for the Dakota Connection as an assistant manager.  He enjoyed fishing, watching the Seattle Seahawks and the Seattle Mariners.  His greatest joy was barbecuing. Tim passed away at his home on September 2, 2019.

Timothy is survived by his three daughters, Anna (Bryan) Holloway of Port Orchard, WA, Megan Duhon of Crowley, LA and Shannon Olson of Bremerton, WA; his mother Naomi Parker of Sisseton, SD; ten grandchildren.; and love of his life, Laura Milton.

Timothy was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Winona Parker; and two brothers, Daniel and David Parker.
