Funeral Service for Tia Rose Cross, infant daughter of Myrannda Cross and Edward Bettelyon will be held on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 1:00 at the Enemy Swim Cultural Center, Enemy Swim, SD with the Rev. Charles Chan officiating. Pallbearers will be Brandon Rockwood, Alex Provost, Erik Rockwood and Ryan Rencountre. Honorary Pallbearers will be Todd Rockwood, Steve Rockwood, Pat Rockwood Jr., Candace Eberhardt, Barry Rockwood, Nannette Schocker, Janet Weber, Stephanie Moves Camp, Dyson Allen Bettelyoun, Glen Cline, Mary Kay Cline, Hattie Clifford, Allison Clifford, Edward "Patches" Betteyloun, Kristin Rockwood, Ayden Just, Rhea Rockwood, Wesley Hawkins, Tawny Rockwood, Seneca Rockwood and Joanne Rockwood. Interment will be in the St. James' Episcopal Cemetery, Enemy Swim. There will be a Wake Service on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. at Enemy Swim Cultural Center. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of arrangements.
Tia Rose Cross was born on January 2, 2015 at Rapid City, SD to Edward Bettelyon and Myrannda Cross.
Tia is survived by her parents, two brothers Dyson Bettelyoun of Rapid City, SD and Ayden Just of Sisseton, SD; maternal grandparents Pat Rockwood Jr. of Waubay, SD; Amy Cross of Bemidji, MN; maternal great grandmother Joanne Rockwood of Waubay, SD; Jermaine Rockwood and Melda Hawkins; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Tia was preceded in death by her great grandfather Pat Rockwood Sr. and great grandmother Charlotte Strutz.
