Funeral Service for Stanley Paul, 69, of Veblen, SD will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at the Veblen District Center, Veblen, SD with lunch being served at 11:00 A.M. Officiating will be Rev. Floyd Hart. Pall bearers will be Kenneth Longie Jr., Ty Ironhawk, Robert Ironhawk Jr., Yohana Ajwanga, Sky Ashford, Brayden Threelegs, and Evan Threelegs. Honorary Pall bearers will be Valerie Two Hearts, Tammy Graywater, Donna Langstaff and kids, and all of Stanley's family.  A special thank you to Jordan, the Dialysis Unit Staff of Aberdeen, Britton Transit and the Tekakwitha Nursing Center Staff. There will be an all-night wake service on Thursday, October 2, 2025 starting at 7:00 P.M. at the Veblen District Center, Veblen, SD. Interment will be at the Mayasan Presbyterian Cemetery, Claire City, SD. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of arrangements.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stanley Paul, who departed this world on September 26, 2025 at the age of 69. Stanley was born on August 16, 1956, in Sisseton, SD to Joseph and Karen (Redfox) Paul. He was baptized at Mayasan Presbyterian Church. He went to the Navy, but due to unforeseen family help he didn't return.  He got his GED and a degree in carpentry and his experiences was working on roofing for several years, but his love for auto mechanics was always his self-taught trait. He had many hobbies such as going for long drives, watching movies and shows, especially his western shows. He loved being with family and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved listening to music and always had a joke to make. Stanley loved his family, and his greatest accomplishments were his grandchildren.

Stanley is survived by his kids, Denyce Reyes, Heather Paul, Shandy Paul, Donna Longstaff, and Elijah Blushield; grandchildren, Yohana Ajwanga, Sky Ashford, Damar Reyes, Noah Reyes, Moses Reyes, Jeremiah Paul, Israel Paul, Luis Sotomayor, Julian Sotomayor, Lillian Paul, Keyalyn Paul, Evelyn Reyes, and Irrah Reyes; brothers, David Paul, Dennis Paul, Kenneth St. John, and Emerson St. John; sisters, Verna Paul, Carolyn Cavanaugh, Donna Paul, and Ranae St. John; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Joy Paul; parents, Joseph and Karen Paul; maternal grandparents, Archie Redfox Sr. and Sarah Abraham; paternal grandparents Elijah Paul and Ida (Williams) Paul; brother, Joseph Paul Jr.; sister Cynthia St. John and nephew Jonathan Thompson.
