Funeral Service for Sheranda Rose Morrison, 30, of St. Paul, Minnesota will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Tribal Community Center, Agency Village, SD with John Cloud III and Philmore Simon officiating.   Drum Group will be the Renville Drum Group.  Pallbearers will be Merlin Peter Morrison Jr., Eric Wermerskirchen, Wayne Lufkins, Delvin Lufkins, Nathaniel Cain and Adam Backer.  Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Sheranda's Friends & Family.  The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Sheranda was born on November 23, 1991 at Minneapolis, MN to Merlin P. Morrison Jr. and Lavonne Lufkins.  She graduated from Sisseton High School.  She loved sports – volleyball, basketball, and cycling.  On May 12, 2014 she married Eric Wermerskirchen.  She loved her catering job but when her sons were born she became a full time mom.   She lived in Minnesota for the last 7 years. She loved playing Sudoku and was very personable.  Sheranda passed away on August 2, 2022 at Regions Hospital, St. Paul, MN.

Sheranda is survived by her three children Ernie, Edrick and Ean Wermerskirchen of Lawnsdale, Minnesota; her father, Merlin Peter Morrison Jr. of Minneapolis, Minnesota; five sisters, Tina Morrison of Duluth, Minnesota, Shawna (Adam) Backer of  Watertown, South Dakota, Sharlow Morrison of Watertown, South Dakota, Taylor Morrison of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and Tia Owen of Peever, South Dakota.

Sheranda was preceded in death by her mother, Lavonne Lufkins; maternal grandparents, Naomi and Kenneth Lufkins and paternal grandparents Merlin Peter Morrison Sr. and Margaret Sailor.
