A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD.  There will be visitation one hour prior to the Memorial Service at the Chapel. Inurnment will be in the Sisseton Cemetery, Sisseton, SD. Vicar Pat Schubert will be officiating.

Sheila Ann (Gipson) Pederson, age 71 of Sisseton, SD sadly left us on February 9, 2023 at Sanford Health Hospital, Fargo, ND. She was born and raised in Jasper, TX on November 27, 1951 to Howard and Bobbie Gipson. Later in life moving to Louisiana to start a family and eventually making her way to South Dakota. Sheila married her best friend Roger Pederson on April 23, 1992 in Sisseton, SD.  Sheila had a kind, open heart and was blessed with a large, blended and loving family.  She would love to sit and talk whether it was in person, over the phone or on Facebook.  Those that knew Sheila, will fondly remember her with a Coke in hand, an arm ready for a hug and a story to tell. She enjoyed having her blended family together and could always be heard enjoying the time by her contagious laughter. She was an avid animal lover especially to her dogs and carried a kindred spirit to wolves. She was a hard worker but knew how to have fun enjoying games.  She will be dearly missed by her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband Roger and fur baby Lea of Sisseton, SD.  Children, Tara Greseth of LA, Mandy Kleibert of SD and Michael Hargrave of PA. Embraced children, Mike Kleibert Sr., Leo Greseth and Stephanie Hargrave. Grandchildren, Dale, Lily, Mike Jr., Kyle (Lauren), Cody, Austin, Madison (Dylan), Bailey (Braden), Peighton, Aedyn, and Ryland. Great grandchildren, Kennedy, Gavin, Chloe, Peyton and Tyler. Brothers, Terry (Monica) Gipson, James (Carisa) Gipson, Wesley (Regina) Gipson, Henry (Pauline) Heyduck, and John (Donna) Heyduck. Sisters, Martha Hedricks, Geri (Tommy) Hull, Linda (Tommy) Thayer, and Janet Limerick. Brother-in-law Darrell Pederson, life long friends Nancy Breed and Jane Hunt;  Numerous nephews, nieces and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Howard Gipson, Bobbie Gipson, Katherine Gipson, Magnus and Mildred Pederson. Sister-in-law Maxine Pederson and nephew Terryl Gipson Jr.
