Sharon was born to Charles and Betty Crabtree on September 1, 1950 in Lansing, Michigan. As a child, she excelled at school; she loved to travel with her husband, to ride her horses and later became an avid bowler in both Michigan and South Dakota. Sharon was "tricked" into meeting her loving husband, Troy Foster in 1965 at her residence in Nashville, Michigan. They married on December 10, 1966 and went on to have six children, Kenneth, Betty, Paul, Rebekah, Jonathan and Sarah. In 1980, they moved their family to Peever, South Dakota. In addition to being a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Sharon also loved riding horse, collecting elephants and working with the dogs out to Cowpounder Kennel in Peever, South Dakota. She also enjoyed working in her garden, was a dedicated member of the VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary, a member of Gideon's International and held various volunteer roles at CMA Bible Fellowship Community Church, where she was a beloved member. She came to hold an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Sharon joins her parents, Charles and Betty, her brothers, Dale and Norman and her great grandson, Quincy in Heaven.

She is survived by her husband, Troy, her sister Lou Ann, her brother Charles, her six children and spouses; Kenneth (Colleen), Betty (Douglas), Paul (Darcy), Rebekah (Philip), Jonathan (Sei Hwoa) and Sarah (Deon).
