Memorial Service for Sadie Gwendolyn RedBear, 39, of Sioux Falls, SD, formerly of Waubay, SD will be held on  September, 10, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at the Enemy Swim Community Center, Enemy Swim with Episcopal Lay Readers, Valorie Augustson, Ray Rouillard, and Vern Rouillard officiating. Urn bearers will be Jade White, Justin Kongi, Benjamin Eagle, Xaiver White, Steve Kongi Sr., and IJ Eagle.  Honorary Urn bearers will be Lisa Rencountre, Tania March Sayler, Rachel KillsSmall, Brian Burr, Stephanie Darveaux, Mary Beth Farley, Tiffany Walker, Elizabeth DuMarce, Alex Wanna and Alex Renville. Inurnment will be at St. James' Episcopal Cemetery at Enemy Swim, SD. Wake Service will be held at the Enemy Swim Community Center   on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 7:00 P.M. Social distancing and masks are recommended but not required. The Cahill Funeral Chapel in Sisseton, SD is in charge of arrangements.

Sadie Gwendolyn RedBear was born on August 31, 1981 at Sisseton, SD to Merle and Donna (Eagle) RedBear. She grew up and attended school graduating from the SD School for the Deaf in 2001. She worked in Sioux Falls, SD at the Goodwill Store and at Wal-Mart. Her hobbies included making Dream Catchers, drawing, taking selfies, and doing silly things to make people laugh. She passed away on September 3, 2020 at her home in Sioux Falls, SD.

She is survived by her parents, Merle and Donna RedBear, of Waubay, SD; sisters, Magdalene Ochalla, of Sioux Falls, SD, Mary Jane Hill, and Joyce White, of Sisseton, SD, and her children, Jasiah Razeem and Dakota Maria.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Lori Jo, and paternal grandparents, Lincoln Rouillard, and Delores RedBear; and her maternal grandparents, Elijah and Clara Eagle.
