Funeral Service for Robin Crystal Quinn, 52, of Sisseton, SD will be held on Friday, May 19, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Grace Lutheran Church, Sisseton, South Dakota with Pastor Nippy Owen officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Price, Dallas Price, Chance Lohre, Aaden Lohre, Nicholas Rondell, Weston Quinn, Dakota Price and Brett Price. Honorary Pallbearers will be The Staff from SWST Gaming Commission, Deborah Divine, Daphne Keeble, Mary Hill, Sierra Wolcott, Lynn Johnson, Pejihota Lucero and Shanda Bissonette. Interment will be in the Sisseton Cemetery, Sisseton, SD. There will be wake services on Wednesday, May 16 th at 7:00 P.M. with an all night wake on Thursday, May 17 th at 7:00 P.M. at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Community Center at Agency Village, SD. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton SD is in charge of funeral arrangements.
Robin was born on September 17, 1965 in Sisseton, SD to Melvin and Mary (Johnson) Price. After high school she attended Lake Area Tech in Watertown, SD where she received two associate degrees and later went on to receive her bachelors degree. On October 3, 1986 she married her soul mate, Darrell Quinn Sr.. They had four children who were the light of their lives.
Robin worked at many different places which included, IHS for nine years, Director of Little Voices, child protection, Tribal secretary, and was currently working for the SWO Gaming Commission. Her most memorable jobs were working with the children, and helping them through the toughest times. She was a caring, compassionate, and humble woman who was willing to give anything and everything she had to those in need. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycle with her husband and nephew Weston. She loved to cook, (fry bread), sew, read, play bingo, and travel with her family. Her love for her husband, children, grand children, and the rest of her family will never be forgotten. She passed away on May 15, 2018 in Watertown, SD surrounded by her loved ones.
Robin is survived by four children: Amanda Quinn (Nicholas Rondell), Darrell Quinn Jr., Ashley (Spiritwind) OneRoad, and Justin Quinn all of Sisseton, South Dakota; grandchildren, Dante Hagenson, Mahkia Quinn, Steven Hagenson, Shaylynn Quinn, Loyal Rondell, Scott Rondell, Kyrie Bursheim-Quinn, Robin Rondell; two sisters Joy (Tony) Lohre of Sisseton, SD, Dawn Price of Manistee, Michigan and brother Dean Price of Watertown, SD, sisters-in-law Pam Quinn, Marlys Beaudreau, Tami Seiber, Fran Quinn and Carol Clifford and brother-in-law LeRoy Quinn Jr., and many nieces and nephews.
Robin was preceded in death by her father Melvin Price, her mother Mary Price, husband Darrell Quinn Sr., a brother Randy Price, sisters-in-law Marilyn Quinn (Seiber), and Mavis Quinn., one brother-in-law, Verlyn Quinn.
