Robert E. Raw, age 65, of Browns Valley, MN, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020.

Son of Jack V. and Beverly A. Raw, Robert Ernest Raw was born in Sisseton, SD on December 6, 1954. Bob grew up in Browns Valley, MN the third child in a family of six boys and spent his childhood with his brothers along the river developing a love for the outdoors.

Bob, from a young age, was an avid fisherman and hunter. He graduated from Browns Valley High School with the class of 1973. Starting early in his life, he worked in the family construction and fishing businesses; later working with carpenter crews. Bob loved the companionship of a dog favoring Springer Spaniels but also had a soft heart for cats. His trips to Alaska were the highlight of his life, bear and moose hunting as well as fishing the ocean. Bob was a hardworking and dependable man despite the many physical obstacles he overcame.

Left to cherish his memory and miss him forever are his brothers, David (Eileen) Raw of Lake Norden SD, Michael (Carol) Raw & Brad (Nancy) Raw of Browns Valley, MN; and numerous nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, Jack and Beverly; and brothers, Danny and Bill.
