Robert M. Jordan, 95, of New Effington, South Dakota passed away peacefully on September 1, 2022 in Sisseton, South Dakota. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at the Sisseton Cemetery in Sisseton, South Dakota. Prior to the service, there will be a short visitation at the Cahill Funeral Chapel from 9:45 A.M. to 10:15 A.M. Officiating the service will be Vicar Pat Schubert.  Pallbearers will be Justin Meyer, Adam Campbell, Brian Rodlund, Austin Bostrum, Randy Ostby, and Dale Ostby. Honorary Pallbearers are All of Robert's Friends and Family. Interment will be in the Sisseton Cemetery in Sisseton, South Dakota. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, South Dakota, is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Robert M. Jordan was born to William and Ethel (Hunter) Jordan Sr. on March 21, 1927 Peever, South Dakota.  Robert was a farmer and mechanic all of his life and was always working on his tractors. For many years, he lived in New Effington which was his family home. Wherever Robert would be, he would have a dog with him. He had a love for horses and even owned a few. When he wasn't working on his equipment, he would enjoy visiting with family and friends. Robert enjoyed the company of the little kids of the family when they would come and visit. He will be missed by many.

Robert is survived by sister, Delores Sydner of Sisseton, South Dakota, and family and friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents William and Ethel (Hunter) Jordan Sr., Brothers: Arnold, Milton, and William Jr., Sisters: Stella, Evelyn, Ruth, Thelma, Ordella, Luella, Darlene, and Adeline.
