Funeral Services for Richard M. Conrad, 90 of Wilmot, SD will be on Monday, April 27, 2026, at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Wilmot, SD at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Chris Davis officiating and Organist will be Nancy Hanson. Pallbearers will be Anthony Conrad, Nathaniel Meyer, Brian Marko, Bill Meyer, Kamron Mooney, and Presten Korell. Honorary Pallbearers will be All of Richard's Grandchildren. Interment will be in the Wilmot Cemetery, Wilmot, SD. There will be a Visitation on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Wilmot, SD. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the Funeral Service at the Church on Monday. The Cahill funeral Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Richard Maynard Conrad was born on November 15, 1935, in Morris, MN to Maynard and Irene (Asmus) Conrad. He graduated from Wilmot High School in 1954 and married Naomi Larson on December 28, 1956. They had a daughter Deslie and three sons: David, Mark, and Paul. Richard was a member of the Our Savior Lutheran Church and served as President and Treasurer in his younger days.

He worked in construction and then started his own business grinding and mixing feed for local farmers for quite a few years. Then he worked for a couple of local farmers. Richard enjoyed fishing with his friends and family, putting puzzles together, watching his favorite sports teams, gardening and snowmobiling. Richard passed away on April 20, 2026, at Ortonville Hospital, Ortonville, MN.

Richard is survived by his wife Naomi; children Deslie, David, and Paul; ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jill and one sister-in-law Arla.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one son Mark; one grandson Kevin; and two brothers, Jerry and Don.
