Funeral Service for Rhea Rockwood, 29, Enemy Swim, SD will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at St. James Episcopal Church, Enemy Swim, SD with Rev. Fr. Charles Chan, Fr. Conrad Ciesel, Deacon Bitsey Ciesel, and St. James Episcopal Lay Readers officiating. Pianist will be Billy Kohl. Pallbearers will be Barry Rockwood, Erik Rockwood, Ian Rockwood, Todd Rockwood, Nate Shepherd, Silas Shepherd, Skylar Recountre, and Mason Hawkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lindsey Long, Chelsea Hopkins, Sarita Eastman, Victoria Peters, Tilena Herrick, Brandi Seaboy, Steven Owen, Shadow Nconish, Maegan Trevino, and all of Rhea's friends that loved her dearly. Interment will be in the St. James Episcopal Cemetery. There will be all night wake services on Thursday, August 29 and Friday, August 30, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. at St. James Guild Hall, Enemy Swim, SD. Rhea passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019 in Peever, SD. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton SD is in charge of funeral arrangements.
Rhea Joelle was born in Webster, SD to Nanette Lynn Rockwood and Ronald Joseph Randall. She attended grade school at Enemy Swim School, and attended high school at Waubay Public School. Rhea's favorite past time was spending time with her children and nieces and nephews. She loved to read all kind of books and kept up with the bible. She always attracted all children and she took them in just like one of her own. She had a very big heart and was always concerned about the well-being of her family, especially her grandmothers. She always made time to visit with all her friends. She will be remembered by her big hugs and kisses. Rhea was such a kind loving person. She spread love and kindness wherever she went. Rhea showed so much love for everything in this world.
Rhea is survived by her children Adelyn Kiena Rockwood, Evangeline Marie Rockwood, Jacob Jose Salinas, Sophia Maria-Herlinda Salinas, Isabella Mae Salinas, Ava Keeble, and Kirsten Rockwood; mother Nannette (Chris) Rockwood-Shocker; father Ronald "Beef" Randall; sisters Ryanin Rockwood, Seneca Rockwood, Sierra Rockwood, Stephanie "Sterie" (Jim) Randall-Bruins, Rebecca "Becky" Randall, and Brooke (Drew) Randall-Leonard; brothers Brandon Rockwood, Ryan Rockwood, Connor Woodrow, and Scott Rockwood; maternal grandparents Joanne Rockwood, Melda Hawkins, Germaine Rockwood, Wesley Hawkins, and Jim Strutz; paternal grandparents Marie Randall-Brushbaker; maternal aunts and uncles Patrick Rockwood Jr., Todd Rockwood, Steven Rockwood, Barry "BJ" Rockwood, Candace Eberhardt, Stephanie Moves Camp; paternal aunts and uncles Wayne Randall, Edward Randall, Todd Randall, Joanne Randall, Gloria Randall, Julia Randall, Agnes Randall, and Martha Randall.
Rhea is preceded in death by her grandfathers Patrick Rockwood Sr.; grandmothers Ione Bingham, Cordelia Finley-Hawkins; great grandmother Melissa Blue Legs-Hawkins; great grandfather Elmer Rockwood; Rance Randall-Blue Legs, Tyler Randall, Tunka Moves Camp, Tawny Rockwood, Tia Rockwood; best friend/sister Whitney Hopkins.
