Funeral Service for Reginald Ellis Horn Jr., 60, of Wilmot, SD will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at the Big Coulee District Center, Big Coulee, SD. Officiating will be Fr. Charles Chan and the Episcopal Lay Readers. Drum Group will be Tyson Flute. Pallbearers will be Payton St. John Jr., Cody Toutges, Chandler Bartunek, Thomas St. John, Charles St. John, Trevor Spider, Alvah Quinn Jr., and Daris Runnels. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Walter LaFromboise, Damien and Daniel Greeley, Joe Kohl, Robert Kohl, Gilbert Kohl, Bill Owen, Harvy Quinn, Dave Argo and Family, Delray German, Michael St. John, Tristan Horne, Maurice Spider and Family, Randy Jordan and Family, Kevin LaFontaine, Zelma Flute and Family, Edmund TwoStars, Sophrona Crawford, Bobby James, Jeremiah Ries, Cheryl Spider, SWO Elderly Nutrition, and Reggie's grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Wake Service will be held Monday, May 19, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. and All-Night Wake Service will be Tuesday, May 20, 2025, starting at 7:00 P.M. at the Big Coulee District Center. Interment will be in the Horne Family Cemetery, Wilmot, SD.

Reginald Ellis Horn Jr was born July 27, 1964, to Regnald Horne Sr. and Mary Ellen Big John in Sisseton, SD. He grew up in Wilmot, SD and attended school in Wilmot until the 8th grade and later earned his GED. He would spend his summers with Daris and Derek. Reginald was a jack of all trades and took pride in all his work and accomplishments. He loved to bead, draw, model cars, play pool and darts and had a great love for AC/DC. He was a very creative and loving soul. He was a fan of the Dolphins and loved to figure the scores on the games he would listen to on the radio. He loved to spend time with his family to shoot pool and have a great time.  He was a firm believer in the old ways and self-taught Dakota and was always sharing stories. Deep down he loved his family and was a believer in visiting relatives any chance you got. Though he may have faced many hardships, his faith in the creator never faded and that had gotten him through his hardships.

Reginald is survived by his daughters, Sharon Hare, Daisy Hare, Gabrielle Sanchez, and Deliah Hare; sisters, Mary Horne, Regina Horne, and Raquel Horne; brother Darrell Lowell; aunt Zelma; and many relatives.

He is preceded in death by his parents; hunka mom Dorthy Finley; brother Waylon; and aunt Lily Runnels.
