Funeral Service for Reegan Janet Shay Hanson, Gistina Omaniyapi Kunsi's, "Little one who walks with her kushi's", 20 months old, Agency Village, SD will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tribal Community Center, Agency Village, SD with Pastor Richard Felch and Pastor Nippy Owen officiating. Special Music by Devola Bird, Jaylynn Biddell, and Carl Lufkins. Drum Group will be Long Elk. Pallbearers will be Luke Hanson, Elias Hanson, Dennis Hanson and Lars Hanson. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Reegan's Cousins and Vance Thompson. Interment will be in the Lufkin Family Cemetery, Long Hollow. All night Wake Services will be held at the Tribal Community Center, Agency Village on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 and Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 7:00 P.M.
Reegan was born on December 20, 2011 in Sisseton, SD to Danise Hanson. She liked to play with her cousins, going for car rides with everyone, and playing outside. She liked playing with dolls. She liked every little baby like her. She liked to take baths and watch cartoons. Reegan passed away on August 24, 2013 at the Coteau Des Prairies Hospital, Sisseton, SD.
Reegan is survived by her mother, Danise Hanson of Agency Village, SD; grandfather, Dennis Hanson of Sisseton, SD; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a special cousin, Maria Gallardo.
Reegan was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Janet King Hanson and maternal great-grandmother, Martha King, auntie, Lisa Haug, and paternal grandparents.
