Memorial Service for Ralph L. Parsons, 89, of Sisseton, SD will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 4:00PM at Family Life Assembly of God Church, Sisseton, SD with Memorial Visitation one hour prior to service.   Pastor Vern Donnell will be officiating. Special music will be provided by June Evenson and Sarah Aadland . Military Rights will be performed by Eddie Robertson American Legion Post #76. Urn bearer will be Alison Parsons. Honorary Urn bearers are all of Ralph's family and friends. Private family inurnment will be at a later date. Ralph passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Milbank Care and Rehabilitation Center in Milbank, SD.

Ralph LaVerne Parsons the son of Glenn and Mildred (Just) Parsons, was born on December 19 ^th , 1929 in Pierre SD. He resided on his family farm located south of Harold, SD where he attended Pierre High School.

Ralph enlisted in the US Navy and served from 1951 to 1955. He was honorably discharged as an Aviation Structural Mechanic Third Class. After he was discharged, he then worked various jobs. He worked in Oregon for himself as a General Contractor.

When he retired, he moved to Veblen, SD where he served on the city council. He enjoyed helping others and delivered for meals on wheels, enjoyed wood working and loved to travel.

Ralph is survived by his wife Elaine of Sisseton, SD; daughters Mikki Sacre of Sacramento, CA; Mary Parsons of Sisseton, SD; Shelly Pio of Tacoma, WA; and sons, Gary Parsons and his wife Lori Parsons of Mount Pleasant, TX; Donald Parsons of Sisseton, SD and Michael Parsons of New Rockford, ND, eight grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.

Ralph is preceded in death by one infant child, and his parents Glenn and Mildred Parsons; and brothers Everett, Earl, Roland, Dale, Paul and Sam.
