Funeral Service for Raegina Faye Renville, "Kimamina Kaposa Waci Wiŋ" Light Dancing Butterfly Woman 23 of Sisseton, SD will be held on Thursday August 12, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Tribal Community Center, Agency Village, SD with Rev. Fr. Charles Chan officiating. Pallbearers will be Wesley Renville, Tremaine Bell, Edward Tipton, James Robertson, Jasiah Red Bear, Jade White II, Xavier White, and Jarell Renville. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alexis Wilson, Michele Renville, Sean Okroi, Emily and Zaria Renville, Marcella Ree Frost, Alex Pond, Aaron Williams, Dale Jones, and Ronda Schoenrock. Drum Group will be Long Elk. Interment will be at St. Mary's Episcopal Cemetery, Agency Village, SD. There will be an all night wake at the SWO Tribal Community Center, Agency Village, SD on Wednesday August 11, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. The Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Raegina Faye Renville was born on August 9, 1997 in Sisseton, SD to Edgar Renville and Joyce Red Bear. Raegina was an active outgoing person. She was so loving, caring and a hard worker. Raegina loved to listen to music and cruise. She enjoyed going to concerts and meeting Blackbear. She also loved to watch movies with her girls. She lived taking her kids out to the water park or to the park. Raegina enjoyed going to Pow-wows and watching the chicken dancers. Some of her favorite hobbies were getting her nails and feet done, shopping, baking brownies and making cakes. She liked to go to the All you can eat crab leg buffets and enjoyed throwing big birthday parties for her girls.

Raegina graduated Headstart at Old Agency, went on to Anne Sullivan and Axtell Park in Sioux Falls, SD. She was a straight A honor roll student. She went to Saint Paul Central High School and graduated from Sisseton High School. Then, Raegina went to Sisseton Wahpeton College. She worked at the Dakota Sioux Casino. Before that she had a long standing career at Taco Johns. J

Raegina is survived by her mother Joyce Red Bear of Waubay SD, her father Edgar Renville of Eden SD, her three children: Hendrix Renville of Eden SD, Caius Renville of Eden SD, and Jiselle Robertson of Sisseton SD, her two sisters: Zaria Renville of Yankton SD and Emily Renville of St. Paul MN, her four brothers: Darwin Greeley of Sisseton SD, Dathan Wilson of Sisseton SD, Xavier White of Waubay, SD and Jade White II of Waubay, SD, significant other: James Robertson of Sisseton SD, paternal grandmother: Janel Many Lightnings of Eden SD, Edgar Pettiford of St. Paul MN, maternal grandmother: Donna and Merle Red Bear of Waubay SD, her two nieces Revene and Ava, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Raegina was preceded in death by her paternal great-great grandparents: V June Renville and Magnus Renville, maternal great-great grandparents: Delores Red Bear and Lincoln Rouillard, uncle Edward Cecil Nelson, aunt Sadie Red Bear, cousin Amber DeMarrias, and Amaya Jones-Ross.
