Funeral Services for Paulette Rose Cloud, 75, of Sisseton, South Dakota will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Kateri Hall, Sisseton, South Dakota with Pastor Vern Donnell and Pastor Milton Owen officiating with special music by Elena Wilson and Carl Lufkins Sr.  Pallbearers will be Terell Cook, Vine "Hokie" Marks, Waynette Renville, Randy White, Ivan Amos, Dave Capper, and Shane Brown. Honorary Pallbearers will be Errol Demarrias, Calvet Patton, Ione Lufkins, Nina Cook, Rhonda Bell, Dorcey Kurrasch, Phoedora Wilson, Sherri LaFromboise, Special friends at Cornerstone Court Apartments, All the #3 Bus Kids, Jared Groos and Wade Veflin.  Wake service will held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the St. Kateri's Hall starting at 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are being handled by Cahill Funeral Chapel of Sisseton, South Dakota.

Paulette was born on June 21 ^st , 1943 in Hawthorne Nevada to Elizabeth and Earl Stevens. She grew up in Covelo, California where she is originally from and later moved to Sisseton, SD where she made her home. Throughout the years she became a mother figure to a lot of kids. On December 20 ^th , 1967 she became a mother to twin boys, Justin and John Cloud IV. Later she adopted Waynette Renville and Aron Keeble. Paulette has 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Paulette worked at the Sisseton School District for 18 years driving bus and serving lunch. During the summer she would drive bus for the VFW and Legion Baseball teams. She also worked for Dakota Tract making quilts. Paulette Retired in 2000. She enjoyed playing 10 thousand with her friend Ione Lufkins and Calvet Patton and as her spontaneous self, her and her brother Marcus Cloud would spend late nights at the Dakota Connection gambling. On February 14 ^th , 2018 we were tragically told Paulette has stage four Cancer and she sadly succumbed to this on September 4 ^th , 2018.

She is survived by her son, Justin Cloud; grandchildren Bessierose, Rhealauria, Jaynielynn, Jesselynn, Lorenalynn, John V, and Maranda Cloud; great grandchildren, Rennyjake Ecoffey, Kaidence, and Kaia Amos, Mason Dale, and Xavier KillsBack, Addison, and John VI Cloud, and Ramsey Cloud.

She was preceded in death by both her parents and her grandma Rena, her son John Cloud IV and grandson Renny Cloud.
