Funeral Service for Patricia Ann Simon, "Kimamana Winyan" Butterfly Woman, 57, of Peever, SD will be held on December 22, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Big Coulee District Center, Big Coulee, SD with CRE Gerald Heminger and Tanner Sager officiating. Organist will be Billy Kohl. Drum group will be Toka Nuwan.   Interment will be in the Ascension Cemetery, Big Coulee, SD.   Pallbearers will be Harvey Quinn, D.J. Amos, J.R. Lewandowski, Dennis Owen Jr., Mark LittleGhost Jr., Ronnie Neilan, Thomas Lee and Tyrell Richotte. Honorary Pallbearers will be All Patty's family, friends and her many, many children. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with a wake at 7:00 P.M. at the Big Coulee District Center. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of funeral arrangements. Masks and social distancing are required.

Patty was born June 24, 1963 in Sisseton, SD. Her parents are Phillip Williams and LaVelva (Amos) Williams. She was the only daughter and the youngest of 6 children.   Her first marriage was to Reggie Wiggins of Hertford, NC on April 28, 1990. They raised three children, Autumn (Wiggins) Sager, Michael Wiggins and Raquel Wiggins. Her current marriage was to Eliphelet (Buddy) Simon Sr.   The date of their marriage was January 23, 2006 and they had no children together. Patty received her GED in her younger years. She enjoyed playing cards and dice, sewing and she also enjoyed waitressing and most of her employment was at Dakota Magic Casino Hankinson, ND and at Dakota Connection Casino, Sisseton, SD. She also worked at Woodland Cabinetry, Sisseton, SD for a short time. She was so social and it was easy for her to connect to the people that she served. She has numerous people that call her "mom" or "Mama Patty" and she loved them all as such. She grew up Presbyterian and was involved in the Presbyterian Church in Big Coulee, SD for most of her life. Some of her favorite things that she enjoyed was being on the Christmas committee and helping during the lent season. She enjoyed the Dakota Hymns and was always ready when called to sing. Patricia made her journey on December 16, 2020 at 10:54 P.M. at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND surrounded by family and friends.

Patty is survived by her three children, Autumn (Tanner) Sager of Big Coulee, SD, Michael Wiggins of Hertford, NC and Raquel Wiggins of Peever, SD; five brothers, Richard Williams of Watertown, SD, Darrell (Judy) Amos of Sisseton, SD, Tim (Dawn) Amos of Hermosa, SD, Adrian Williams of Agency Village, SD and Tom (Jane) Gillore of Yankton, SD; one sister, Cheryl (Jodi) Owen of Enemy Swim, SD; two grandchildren, Mikah and Rachel Wiggins.

Patty was preceded in death by her Parents; one brother Michael Williams; one daughter Rachel
Wiggins; maternal grandparents Norby and Flora Amos and paternal grandparents.
