Memorial Service for Otto Gary Moe Jr., 69 of Summit, SD will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD. Rev. Suzanne Benidt will be officiating. Honorary Urnbearers are "All of Otto's Family and Friends". Inurnment will be in the St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Sisseton, SD.
Otto Gary Moe Jr. was born on May 18, 1944 in Sisseton, SD to Otto Berger and Mary (Block) Moe Sr. He grew up by One Road Lake and he went to country school at One Road. He has lived in Summit since 1968. He loved to trap and fish. He sheared sheep with his dad for many years. He liked to tinker with cars and came up with many inventions. He was one of nine children. Otto passed away at his home in Summit on July 27, 2013.
Otto is survived by two brothers, Gerald and wife, Ann Moe of Glasgow, MT, and Charles and wife, Marcy Moe of Minneota, MN; three sisters, Mary and husband Kenneth Wyman Sr. of Summit, SD, Lannis Goetsch of Clark , SD, and Linda and husband, Ferdy Hoss of Sisseton, SD; and by many, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Otto was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Ardyce; and two brothers, Larry and Michael.
