Memorial Service for Norma Jean Cochran, 63, of Hancock, Minnesota will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD with Pastor Vern Donnell officiating. Urn Bearer will be Andre Lawrence and Honorary Urn Bearers will be Zackery Lawrence, Lance Weber Jr., James Lawrence, Jack Weber, Mike Lawrence, and Marshall Loney.  Inurnment will be in St. Matthew's Catholic Cemetery, Veblen, SD.  There will be visitation at the Cahill Funeral Chapel from 11:00 A.M. to service time. Following inurnment at the cemetery, lunch will be served at Peever Community Center, Peever, SD. The Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Norma Jean Lawrence was born on August 17, 1958 in Sisseton, SD the daughter of Levi and Loretta (Beaudreau) Lawrence.  Norma dedicated her life to her five sons, caring for the elderly, and living free. Norma journeyed to the Spirit World on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at the age of 63 at her home in Hancock, MN surrounded by her family after a two year battle with cancer.

Norma is survived by her 5 sons, Andre  Lawrence of Browns Valley, MN, Zachery Lawrence of  Sioux Falls, SD, Lance Weber Jr., of  Seattle, WA, James Lawrence of Starbuck, MN and Jack Weber of Hancock, MN; nine grandchildren, Brandon Lawrence, Kendra Lawrence, Aubrey Lawrence, Nathan  Lawrence, Kira Lawrence, Liam Goette, Dakota Lawrence, Hayden Weber, and Makenzie Weber; her loving siblings Floyd Beaudreau  of Sisseton, SD; Maynard Beaudreau,  Janis Loney, Mitchell Lawrence of Peever, SD.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Loretta (Beaudreau) Lawrence; four brothers, Charles and Darrell Peterson, Wayne and Mike Lawrence; and one sister Mavis Lawrence.
