Funeral Services for Nicole "Nikki" Two Stars, Tiwahe Owicakiye Win (Watches out for her Family), 34, of Bloomington, MN will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at the SWO Tribal Community Center with Pastor Milton (Nippy) Owen and John Cloud III officiating. Music to be provided by Butch Felix and Pianist Billy Kohl. Drum Group is Old Agency Singers. Pallbearers are Chance and Aaden Lohre, Justin Quinn, Eli Janise, Jayce Two Stars, and Dante Quinn. Honorary Pallbearers are Sara Sikorski, LaDonna Haug, Karen Schester, Eleanor White, Kyle Gauthier, Kat Andrie, Nate Florian, Amy Hodgson, Lakota Shawnoskey, Tiffani Crawford, Nicole's numerous cousins and friends, and the surveillance staff at Little River Casino in Manistee, MI and Mystic Lake Casino in Shakopee, MN. Wake Services will be held on Wednesday, December 28 th from 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. and all night wake services will be held on Thursday, December 29 th starting at 7:00 P.M. at the SWO Tribal Community Center. Interment will be held at St. Peter's Cemetery. The Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements. Nicole passed away in Bloomington, MN on December 22, , 2022 surrounded by her family.
Nicole Raeanne Two Stars, was born in Watertown S.D on July 10 th , 1988 to John Two Stars and Dawn Price. She attended public schools in Sisseton, SD and Manistee, MI where she graduated in 2007. Nicole was the best mom ever to Nevaeh and Aiyana Two Stars. She was the "favorite" Auntie to her nieces and nephews. Nikki had a passion and gift for working with elders and worked as a CMA in assistant living facilities in Sisseton SD, Manistee MI, and Atlanta MI. Nikki excelled and thrived as a surveillance operator and specialist. Nikki took over as fry bread maker for the family and had the best chocolate chip cookie recipe ever! Nikki enjoyed adventures with her girls and always introduced them to new experiences. Her favorite activity was to go for car rides and be goofy with her girls. Nikki was always known for her wild hair colors; we don't actually know what her real hair color is. Her daily goal was to make someone smile and if she could accomplish that, it made her day.
Nicole gave the ultimate Christmas gift through organ donation. The family is thankful to Life Source for their support.
Nicole is survived by her daughters, Nevaeh and Aiyana Two Stars, Bloomington, MN her parents, Dawn Price, Desert Hot Springs, CA & John (Dani) Two Stars, Peever, SD her siblings Barbara (David Maltais) Two Stars-San Diego, CA, Angela (Eric) Papenfuss-Maplewood, MN, Adam (Samantha Putney) Two Stars-Traverse City, MI, Kassidy LaBelle-Desert Hot Springs, CA, and step-brother Eli Janise-Watertown, SD. Nieces, Jacinda Carlson, Ayla Papenfuss, and Addeline Two Stars and nephews, Jayce Two Stars, Caden Baldwin, and John Papenfuss and her cat son, Fat Butt.
Nicole was preceded in death by her partner & co-parent, Stephen Shawnoskey, her paternal and maternal grandparents, John and Estelline Two Stars and Melvin & Mary Price, aunts Robin Quinn, Nanci Two Stars, Patty Bernard, and Shirley Owen and uncles Randy Price and Darrell Quinn Sr, and her niece and godchild, Tehya Carlson.
