Nadine was born to Elijah Wallace Eagle Sr. and Clara DeMarrias in Sisseton, South Dakota on November, 16, 1949. She attended school at the Tekakwitha Orphanage until the 8 th grade. She attended one year of high school at Sisseton High School. She received her GED then went on to Watertown Vocational School where she received her two year certificate as a medical assistance. She was employed at I.H.S. Hospital until 2003. She decided to take care of her mother, Clara until the time of her passing in 2005.   She and her mother made and sold beautiful star quilts. Nadine enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo. She love to listen to 60's and 70's music. She also liked to tell stories that her mother had told her about things that happened in the past. Clara taught her about medical plants and where to find them and how to use them. She had a great sense of humor and loved to tease people. She enjoyed helping out at Enemy Swim Elderly as it kept her busy. When her illness set in she missed going to Church and going out and meeting her friends and relatives. She really liked to talk about her experiences of her trips and adventures going to Tekakwitha Conferences and all the fun they had. She had vivid dreams, a lot of them were about Eagles and loved to tell about them. She was inspired by many people, like Fr. Stan Maudlin, Fr. Dan Madlin, and Fr. Michael of Blue Cloud Abbey. We will miss hearing  her laugh and joking. She passed away very peacefully just like her life was. She loved all her family and friends.

Nadine is survived by her sons, Eugene Anderson of Watertown SD, Troy and wife Olga Anderson of Littleton CO., grandchildren, Laryssa Jean Anderson, Jenna Hansen, Ryne Anderson, Haylee Anderson, Sianna Anderson, and Darya Zheko; siblings, Bernadine Gaikowski of Sisseton, SD, Charolotte Grey of Sisseton, SD, Kathy Barse of Peever, SD, Francis Eagle of Blue Dog Lake, SD, Donna RedBear of Enemy Swim, SD, and Patrick Eagle of Fargo, ND; Michelle WalkingBull and Cheryle Eagle; ex-husband Jim Anderson of Webster, SD, aunts, Lillian Owen, Teresa Peters, and Ione Eagle, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
