Merlyn Odean Landmark II "Dean" was born July 10th 1958 in Salt Lake City Utah, to Merlyn Odean and Mary Landmark. He attended Murray High School, graduating in 1975. He attended Salt Lake Community college, where he studied welding. He was a lifelong welder/pipefitter, working for several different unions around the country. He loved hunting, fishing, and was one of the best fur trappers around. He loved motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons. He loved dogs and birds. He was always making something whether it was a bird house, or building a bike. He loved to draw and paint. He loved his grandkids, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Merlyn is survived by his father Merlyn Odean Landmark of Sisseton SD, his brother Jim Landmark of Pinehurst NC, his two children Travis Landmark of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Alicia Mitchell of Salt Lake City, Utah, and his dog Ole.
