Funeral Service for Melodie "Molly" A. Lawrence, 55, of Watertown, South Dakota will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Bible Fellowship Community Church, Peever, South Dakota with Pastor Milton Owen and Rev. Larry Theile officiating.  Organist will be Kim Lawrence with special music by Kenneth Cameron.  Pallbearers will be Vernon White Jr., Wayne Heminger, Joshua Lawrence, Richard Lawrence, Marcus DuMarce and Lincoln Bird. Honorary pallbearers will be all of Melodies' family and friends. Interment will be in the Lawrence Sacred Hill Cemetery, Peever, SD.  A Wake service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. at the Bible Fellowship Community Church.

Melodie was born on March 6, 1963 at Sisseton, South Dakota to Gary Milo Lawrence and Sylvia Bird.   She grew up and attended school in Sisseton graduating in 1980.  She was married to Randolph Price and the couple had two children Dwayne and Randolph Jr.  She also had another son, Eric Frenier.  Melodie worked at Dakota Sioux Casino and Dakota Magic Casino as a cashier.  Melodie liked to spend time at the lake and liked to watch movies and read.

Melodie is survived by her mother Sylvia and Pastor Mike Owen of Peever, SD; three children Dwayne Price and Randolph Price Jr. of Watertown, SD and Eric Frenier of Peever, SD.  Four sisters Jacquelyn Lawrence Anderson of  Mantador, ND, Debra Divine of Sisseton, SD, June Richards of  Sioux Falls, SD and Dina Owen of Sisseton, SD and four brothers, Kenneth Lawrence of  Midwest City, OK, Rev. Larry Theile of  Tokio, ND, Joshua Lawrence of Peever, SD and Vernon White Jr. of Agency Village, SD.

Melodie was preceded in death by her father, Gary Milo Lawrence; one grandson Leeland; one sister Laura; and her maternal grandparents Sam and Laura Bird and paternal grandparents Melvin and Marie Lawrence.
