Mary Lucille Moe was born on February 20, 1937, in Britton, SD to Otto and Mary (Block) Moe. Mary had two sons before her marriage to Kenneth Wyman in June of 1958 and to that union six children were born. They raised these eight beautiful children together along with one granddaughter. They made their home in Roberts County and finally settled down in Summit, SD. Grandma Mary was very proud of her heritage, always instilling in her family, life was about family not possession. In her younger years, Mary loved riding horses and enjoyed her time spent with her family by the lake or rivers teaching her kids how to fish or spending their days catching frogs and snakes. She was a wonderful person and was always there when you needed her. Many times, she would take her family along so they could all help the neighbors with whatever they could whether that would be sheering sheep, milking cows, hauling bales, or picking rock. She was a wonderful soul and if you were lucky enough to know her, worrying was one of her beautiful gifts and curses. You always knew you were safe because she would do enough worrying for both of you! In her later years, she always enjoyed making the rounds to visit family and friends or just driving around town listening to music with her beloved dog, Candy! She would not go anywhere without her. Her favorite past time was playing bingo and going to ball games. She loved children and spent time working in the school cafeteria, every kid in town knew her as Grandma Mary. She will always be everyone's Grandma Mary.

Mary is survived by her children, Merton (Val Moen) Moe of Waubay, SD, Robin (Bonnie) Moe of Summit, SD, Linda (Harlan) Humphrey of Cogswell, ND, David Wyman of Summit, SD, Loretta (Kelvin) Hagen of Florence, SD, LeRoy Wyman of Summit, SD, Rose (Tim) Krueger of Savage, MN and a granddaughter, Christi (Brian) Thurman of Summit, SD; one brother, Charles (Marcy) Moe of Minneota, MN; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, others who called her Grandma Mary, and a sister-in-law Ann Moe Glasgow, MT.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son and daughter-in-law Kenneth and Nancy Wyman Jr.; brothers, Otto Moe Jr., Larry Moe, Gerald Moe, Michael Moe; and sisters Ardyce Hoss, Linda Hoss, and Lannis Goth.
