Funeral Service for Maria Renee White (Oyate Ota Win), 31, of Browns Valley, MN will be on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, Sisseton, SD. Lunch will be served at 11:30 A.M. before the Funeral. Officiating will be Fr. Gregg Frankman and Pastor Milton Owen. Drum Group will be Red Storm. Pall Bearers will be Hazen DuMarce Jr., Richard Young, Seth Paul, Taymin Pacheco, Noah Bernard, Arnold Williams, Harlan DuMarce, Spencer Julius, Kendrick Mireau, and Brennan Owen. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Brandon White, Ashley Blackthunder, Kayla Tchida, Randi "Paige" White, Brandi Seaboy, Kari DuMarce, Colleen Cloud, Whitney Hansen, Linda White, Shiane Young, Nicole Bien, Shantale Barse, Kelli Spider, Kerri White, Waynette Renville, Rhonda White, Zach White, Brittany Sharpfish, Keisha White and Jessica Renville. Wake Service will be on Saturday, December 9, 2023, starting at 7:00 P.M. and All-Night Wake will be Sunday, December 10, 2023, starting at 7:00 P.M. at St. Kateri's Tekakwitha Hall. Interment will be at St. Matthew's Catholic Cemetery, Veblen, SD. The Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Maria was born on January 29, 1992, in Sisseton, SD to Clarine DuMarce and Randy White. She was baptized at St. Matthew's Catholic Church. She attended school in Sisseton and graduated from Sisseton High School in 2010. Maria worked at the Connection C-Store and at Dakota Magic Casino until she had a family and then she raised her family.

She liked to go visiting and go cruising.  She would go visit her grandparents and especially her daughter Ramona who has passed on. She enjoyed listening to music especially Nevad Brave, playing Bingo Slots on her phone, and doing scratchers.  Her favorite teams to watch was the Minnesota Viking's and the New York Yankee's (for her Grandpa Hazen). She liked to watch Law and Order SVU, Empire, and her favorite movie was Uncle Buck (her uncle Beake tried to hide it from her). Maria would make her Almost Famous Mac and Cheese. Maria Renee passed away in Fargo, ND with her family by her side on December 5, 2023.

Maria is survived by her significant other Brady Cloud; her children Maleeah Cloud, Skylee Cloud, Brayden Cloud, Jordyn Cloud, and Jaylah Cloud; parents Randy White and Clarine DuMarce; brother Brandon White; sisters Brenda White, Sadie Wright, Natella DuMarce and Shiane Young; Aunties Julia DuMarce of Sioux Falls, SD, Rochelle Ryan, Kari DuMarce of Sisseton, SD, Lynelle DuMarce of Wahpeton, ND and Kerri White of Watertown, SD; Uncles Hazen DuMarce Jr. of Sisseton, SD, Bruce DuMarce Sr. of Sisseton, SD, Marlon DuMarce of Sisseton, SD, Russell DuMarce Quinn of Minneapolis, MN, Wayne White of Sioux Falls, SD, Pernell White of Florence, SD  and Kyle Kampeska of Sisseton, SD; nieces Mallory Slaamot and Aubriella White; cousins Hazen DuMarce III, Swayze DuMarce and numerous other cousins: grandmother Lily DuMarce Renville.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Ramona Louella White Cloud; Maternal grandparents Hazen DuMarce Sr. and Ramona Ryan; Paternal grandparents Orville and Diane White; Uncles Craig DuMarce and Richard White and aunt Lynnette DuMarce.
