Funeral Service for Madeline "Maddie" Mae Renville, 17 of Sisseton, SD will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tribal Community Center, Agency Village, SD with Pastor Cary Enno, Pastor Dwight Fearing, John Cloud III and Vine Marks officiating. Pianist will be Billy Kohl and Drum Tracii Barse. Pallbearers will be Jay Barse, Chase DuMarce Sr., Jace Starr, Nash Heminger, Dean Abraham III, Deshae Greeley, Nate Johnson, Tracii Barse, Russel Barse, David Barse, Kenny Abraham Jr., and Christian Barse. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alexis Renville, Jermaine Barse, Jaynie Barse, Jasmine Barse, Jordyn Barse, Katy Tordsen, Peyton Kirk, Gabrielle Gracie Wanna, Scarlett Wanna, Aubrey Carlson, Ellen Block, Kirsten Jensen, Bailyn Burshiem, Trelonnie Bluedog, Lavonne Turner, Erin Quiver, Lindsay Redman, Renee Wanna, Bonna Johnson, Landis Barse, Sammi Johnson, Belle Johnson, Rhea Johnson, Dusty Renville, Leighia Quincy, Charnell Blackman, Sadies Irwin, Hailey Jo Goesahead, David Anderson, Cameron Bird, Breonna Jackson, Kaitly Chanku, Friends from Chemawa Indian School and all Family & Friends. Interment will be held in the Sisseton Cemetery, Sisseton, SD. Wake Services will be held at the Tribal Community Center, Agency Village on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 7:00 PM and an all-night wake on Thursday, March 14, 2013.
Madeline Mae Renville was born on September 8, 1995 in Sisseton, South Dakota to Melissa Renville and David Williams. Maddie was raised by her grandparents, Dean and Connie Abraham Sr., along with their children, Rochelle Renville, Sophia Abraham, Dean Abraham Jr., Kenneth Abraham, Thomas Abraham, Cory Renville and Maurice "Ruffy" Johnson. Maddie attended grade school at the Tiospa Zina Tribal School. She attended two years high school at Chemawa Indian School in Salem, Oregon, before returning to Sisseton in October and attended Tiospa Zina Tribal School. In school she played volleyball. She enjoyed beading, cooking, hanging out with her cousins, driving around, being silly, had a great sense of humor, and a creative mind, and was a big Marilyn Monroe fan. She loved doing things with her grandparents, Connie and Dean, and her siblings and family. Madeline passed away on March 11, 2013 at the Coteau Des Prairies Hospital, Sisseton, SD.
Maddie is survived by her mother, Melissa and Kenneth Abraham Sr. of Agency Village,; her father David and Laura Williams of Waubay, SD; her grandparents that raised her Dean and Connie Abraham Sr. of Sisseton, SD; five brothers, Kenneth Abraham Jr. of Agency Village,SD David Williams Jr. of Waubay, SD, Daniel Williams of Waubay, SD, Blaine Williams and Caleb Williams of Waubay, SD; five sisters, Alyssa Redday , Alberta Abraham, McKenzie Abraham, Cecelia Abraham all of Agency Village, SD and Kaliyah Williams of Waubay, SD; grandfather, Oliver Wanna Jr. of Sisseton, SD.
Maddie was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Madeline and Corby Renville, grandmother, Carla Williams, and a Aunt Loni Barse, and an Uncle Shawn Johnson.
