Funeral Service for Lynnelle Denise Quinn, 60 of Sisseton, SD will be on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 11:00 P.M. at Buffalo Lake District Center, Eden, South Dakota. CRE Gerald Heminger and Filmore Simon will be officiating. There will be All-Night Wake Services on Saturday, January 4, 2025, and Sunday, January 5, 2025, at the Buffalo Lake District Center starting at 7:00 P.M. Pallbearers will be Eric Tiger, JJ Redday, Jaden White, Rider Dirtseller, William Heminger, Joseph Heminger, Devlin DuMarce, Darren Crawford, Gary HolyBull Jr., Brent Starr, Derrick Locke, and Nathanial Begay. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wambli Brant, Alcott Jr., Norman Brant, Tucker Seaboy, Stefan Shepherd, Sundancers, Dialysis Team, and the Elderly Nutrition Program. Interment will be at the Buffalo Lake Presbyterian Cemetery, Eden, SD. Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Lynnelle Denise Quinn (Waǧačaŋ Adetka Ota Yuha Wiŋ) age 60, of Sisseton, SD left earth side January 1, 2025, in Sisseton. She was born December 15, 1964, in Cleveland, Ohio she is the daughter of Louie Quinn and Olivia Johnson-Eastman. She got her GED and went on to get her AA degree from Sisseton Wahpeton College, she worked for Dakota Connection Bingo and Casino for some time, she was there when it was called Agency Bingo and Casino. She spent 14+ years at the CHR/MCH Program at IHS. She has spent years working with the Elderly Nutrition Program in Agency, and some at Teals Market where she loved her job. Lynnelle loved to travel to attend and dance at powwows all over with family, Melynda was a big help on the powwow trail, she loved to bead, and do her puzzles. Her favorite sports team is the San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Twins.

Lynnelle had two Dakota names, the one that is listed translates to Cotton Tree Woman with lots of Branches, she earned that name because of how many people she took in and took care of throughout her life, we can't keep track of exactly how many she has brought into her home. She has 13+ Grandchildren, and 25+ Great Grandchildren. Everyone knew her for her love, it was in her nature to care for others, she was everyone's Mama. We apologize if we forgot anyone, she took care of so many and we tried to name everyone, we are grateful for the love and support with sending our mom, aunt, cousin, grandma, kunsi.

Survived by her siblings; LuJuanna Quinn-Hartmen, Leah Quinn, Tammy DeCoteau, Nadine Eastman, Sherry Johnson, Jeannie Bosch; Aunt; Wanda Johnson; Uncle; Ronald Brant; Children; Jessica Tiger, Susan Quinn, Leonard DuMarce III (George), Tessa Quinn, Elias Quinn, David Williams, Renae Wanna, Bryan Twilling, Angel Brant, and many that called her mom; numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mom and dad; Louie and Olivia, Ate Wayne Eastman; Sons; Shawn Johnson and Jordan; Brother; Loris Johnson; Aunts; Inez, Rita, Cynthia; Uncles; Alcott Sr., Gary, Mike, Stacy; and other loved ones.
