Funeral Service for Lorleen June Hayes-Martin, 49, of Fargo, ND will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Community Center, Agency Village, SD with Pastor Milton Owen and Mike Owen officiating. Pianist will be Billy Kohl. Pallbearers will be Gerald Amos, Stephan Hayes, Eldon Hayes Jr., Ernie Rendon, Tom DeCoteau Jr., and Howard Redday III. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lisa Bernard, Carri Backman, Lisa Nelson, Lisa Barse, Regina Horne, Colette White, LeAnne Wolfe, Tonia Gill, Barb Howey, and Stacey Decker. Interment will be in the Ascension Presbyterian Cemetery, Big Coulee, SD.   All Night Wake Services will be held at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Community Center, Agency Village, SD at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, December 11, 2017 and Tuesday, December 12, 2017. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Lorleen June Hayes was born on June 27, 1968 in Sisseton, SD to Leonard Hayes Jr. and Sharyn Renville.   She attended school in Sisseton before going to Box Elder Job Corp where she received her GED and CNA Degree. She returned to the Sisseton area and worked as a CNA. In 1996 she was united in marriage to David Martin. They made their home in Wolfe Point, MT, where she worked as a CNA in an assisted living center. She moved to Watertown, SD in 2000 and worked for the Human Service Agency, Dakota Sioux Casino as a dispatcher and various jobs at Agency Bingo. She lived in Fargo, ND the past two years. She loved to draw, color adult coloring books, bead, and play yahtzee, drink coffee, read books by Daniel Steele, and shopping at thrift stores. She loved being with her grandchildren and family. Lorleen passed away on December 8, 2017 at her home in Fargo, ND.

Lorleen is survived by children, April Hayes of Arizona, Isaiah Hayes and Daniel Martin of Great Falls, MT and Chelsea Martin of Gloversville, New York; her mother, Sharyn Renville, stepmother, Avina Hayes of Watertown, SD; her husband, David Martin of Gloversville, New York; five brothers, Lenny Hayes of Minneapolis, MN, Ernie Rendon of Granite Falls, MN, Henry Renville of Aberdeen, SD, Jeremiah Renville of Sisseton, SD, Howard Redday III of Summit, SD, and Brian Blue Cloud of Chicago, IL; six sisters, Lynette Hayes of Watertown, SD, Ashley Renville of Sisseton, SD, Leslie Renville of Sisseton, SD, Berandette Kohl of Peever, SD, Rochelle Kohl of Peever, SD and Rhonda Redday of Watertown, SD; her significant other, Darrell Spears of Fargo, ND, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. .

Lorleen was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Hayes Jr., one son Eric DuMarce; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Gloria Feather; paternal grandparents, Leonard and Clarice (DeCoteau) Hayes; Uncle Richard Hayes and Aunt Ina Hayes; and one step brother, Raymond Jones.
