Funeral Mass Lloyd David Rowland,77 of Sisseton, SD will be held on Tuesday, March 12,2024 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Sisseton, South Dakota with Rev. Fr Gregg Frankman Celebrant. Sequencer will be Kay Nikolas and Song Leader will be Georgia Streier. Pallbearers will be Donovan Rowland, Alan Rowland, Wayne Sattler, Eugene Sattler, Paul Stapleton and Waldo Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lloyd's grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Interment will be in St Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Sisseton SD. There will be visitation one hour prior to the funeral mass at the church. The Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Lloyd David Rowland was born on August 5, 1946, in Graceville, Minnesota to John and Marie (Ness) Rowland. Lloyd graduated from Sisseton High School in 1965. Lloyd was united in marriage to Linda Van Hill in 1968 until 1979. In 1989 Lloyd was united in marriage to Myrtle Johnston, Lloyd was as long-time resident of Sisseton, SD. Lloyd worked at Landsberger Creamery and Schiltz foods for many years before working at Dakota Magic. Lloyd was as member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Sisseton, SD. He enjoyed watching ball games on TV, fishing, shaking dice and playing cards. He enjoyed watching girls and boys Sisseton Basketball teams. He was a Chicago Bears fan. Lloyd passed away on March 7, 2024, at Prairie Lakes Hospital, Watertown SD surrounded by family.

Lloyd is survived by his two sons, Troy (Amy) Rowland of Watertown SD and Chad Rowland of Everett, WA; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; Son in law Robert Barton; two sisters Linda (Donald) George of Sisseton, SD, Marlyn Sattler of Lake City, SD; brother Gary (Kathy) Gonzales, Louisana; many nieces, nephews, cousins and one aunt in law Betty Rowland of Montevideo, MN.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Jilynda; two brothers Robert and Gerald Rowland; and his wife Myrtle Rowland.
