Obituary

Funeral Service for Lisa Renee Kegg, 30, of Browns Valley, Minnesota will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Sisseton Wahpeton Tribal Community Center, Agency Village with John Cloud III officiating  Drum Group will be Yellow Medicine. Pall Bearers will be Hoksida Blacklance, Timothy Wells Jr., Tyson Flute, Zane Nickaboine-Sutta, Thomas Flute Sr. Ricco Uribe Jr., Mario Uribe, Wakinyan GreyCloud, and Raymond Eagle.  Honorary Pall Bearers will be Dezeray Eagle, Eunice Wright, Taylor Morrison, April Flute, Kaye Renville, Zayah Kegg, Amanda Valdivie, Heaven Uribe, Angel Renville, Dyleydy Valdivie. Inurnment will be in the Oakland Cemetery, St. Paul, Minnesota at a later date. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD, is in charge of arrangements.

Lisa Renee Kegg was born December 27, 1994 in St. Paul, MN to Holly M. Renville and Leroy Kegg. She was one of ten siblings. Lisa grew up on the west side in St. Paul, Minnesota most of her childhood and was one of ten siblings all  of which eight are living and two deceased. Lisa moved to Granite Falls, Minnesota where she met her son's father Rogelio Roy Rios and later on had her son, Xzavion. She then moved to Browns Valley, Minnesota where she resided thereafter. Lisa enjoyed life with her son Xzavion and her niece Zayah and nephew Lamarcus Kegg, many other nieces, nephews and cousins, whom will miss her dearly.  Lisa enjoyed spending time with her family, grandma, aunties, and uncles and all her friends and extended family. Lisa entered into the spirit world on May 30, 2025, at her residence in Browns Valley, MN.

Lisa is survived by her son, Xzavion Kegg of Simole, Texas; her mother, Holly Renville and father, LeRoy Kegg of Browns Valley, MN; three brothers, Marcus Nickaboine of Browns Valley, Mn, Luis Kegg  and Leroy Kegg Jr. of Minneapolis, MN; four sisters, Leanne Kegg, Krystal Kegg, Louise Kegg and Leslie Cloud all of Minneapolis, MN; daughter Zayah Kegg of Browns Valley, MN; maternal grandmother Glorene Renville of Sisseton, SD and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Lisa was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Renville, and sister Marly Renville; maternal grandfather Mandis Renville, paternal grandparents Evelyn and Ernest Kegg, great grandparents Pearl and Archie LaBatte;
