The Funeral Service for Linda Marie Palacio, 59, of Sisseton, South Dakota will be held on May 23, 2023, at 11:00 A.M at the Sisseton Wahpeton Community Center, Agency Village, South Dakota with Pastor Jerome Renville and Lisa Farmer Officiating. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Cloud Jr., "Ezra King", Davis Smith, Decotah Cloud, "Darren Porter", Elias Hill, Kendrick Mireau, and Doug Desjarlite.  Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Linda's Family and Friends. There will be Wake Services on Sunday, May 21, 2023, and All-Night Wake Monday, May 22, 2023, both starting at 7:00 P.M. at the Sisseton Wahpeton Community Center, Agency Village. Burial will be at the Goodwill Presbyterian Cemetery, Agency Village, South Dakota. The Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Linda Marie Palacio, 59, of Sisseton, SD, unexpectedly left to be with the

Lord on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND. Linda was born in Sisseton, SD but was raised in Minneapolis, MN most of her life by her beloved mother Olivia J. Palacio who also preceded in death April 2010 and father Julian B. Palacio also in August 1999.

Linda graduated high school from Flandreau Indian School. Linda and her family moved back to Sisseton, SD around summer of 2000 where she worked at Schiltz Foods Inc, off and on for several years because it was a seasonal job. She also attended College at Sisseton Wahpeton Community College where she got her Associates Degree in Dakota Studies; she also worked as an Archivist several years with Aloma McGee at the College.

Linda is survived by her 5 children, son Jerome J. Palacio and daughter Lenore A. Littleghost of Sisseton, SD. The father Jordan Thompson who was preceded in death many years ago. Benjamin R. Cloud Jr., Decotah J. Cloud and Irene Rose Marie Cloud (Dolly) whose father was Benjamin R. Cloud Sr., who also preceded in death November 21, 2017.

Linda is also a grandmother to: Dallas LaCroix, Sadie Witt, Maximus Palacio, Michael (Mikey) and Lawrence IV (Dopa) Littleghost, Ezra and Izzabella King, and Darren Porter.

Linda also had 2 stepchildren: Davis and Clarissa Smith of Red Lake, MN.

She is survived by her siblings Kingsley B. Palacio (3 daughters) of Minneapolis, MN and Renee A. Palacio-Cunningham (3 sons) of Florida and is preceded in death by her sister Kateri R. Palacio-Traxler May 1, 2022.
