Funeral Mass for Linda Jean Hoss, 72, of Sisseton, SD will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Sisseton, SD with Rev. Fr. Gregg Frankman Celebrant. Organist will be Cindy Marohl and song leader Megan Nieland. Pallbearers are Aaron Hoss, Alec O'Farrell, Cody Hoss, Josh Moe, Cody Moe, and David Wyman. Honorary Pallbearers are All Linda's friends and the coffee crew at Rosalie's. Interment will be in the St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Sisseton, South Dakota. There will be visitation on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Cahill Funeral Chapel and at St. Peter's Catholic Church from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a Prayer service at 7:00 P.M. There will be visitation one hour prior to the funeral at the church. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton S.D, is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Linda Hoss was born on July 14, 1949 in Sisseton, SD. She was raised by her parents Mary (Block) and Otto Moe on their family's ranch located by One Road Lake in SD. Linda was united in marriage to Ferdinand Hoss on September 20, 1969 at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Throughout her life Linda had worked on her farm with her late husband Ferdinand Hoss. Linda's normal day was driving tractor and helping her husband with the daily operations. Linda held many "town" jobs throughout her life. One of her favorite memories was working with the youth at Head Start. Linda had earned two Associates Degrees at the Sisseton Wahpeton College in Sisseton, South Dakota. She was most proud of her Associates Degree of Arts in Early Childhood Development.

Linda was a lifetime member of Hills and Valley Riding Club. She enjoyed many trail rides with friends and family at Canyon Ranch and the Hills and Valley trail rides. Linda loved watching Fun Days (Hills and Valley Riding Club). Her husband Ferdinand died on October 6, 2013. For the past few years Linda has enjoyed her free time with the coffee crew in Rosalie's. She loved when her neighborhood friends came to her house for a cup of coffee. Linda loved all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed showing the grandchildren and great-grandchildren how to bake cookies and create many more treats.   Linda Jean (Moe) Hoss, 72, passed away on February 5, 2022 at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, due to health complications. Linda was in the presence of her two sons Frank (Sophia) Hoss and William (Renae) Hoss.

Linda is survived by her two sons Frank (Sophia) Hoss of Sisseton, SD and William (Renae) Hoss of Watertown, SD; one sister Mary Wyman of Summit, SD and a brother Charlie (Marcy) Moe of Marietta, MN; 5 grandchildren Marci, Aaron, Cody, Alec and Brooklyn; 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ferdinand; sisters Ardyce Hoss and Lannis Goth; brothers Gerald Moe, Michael Moe, Larry Moe and Otto Moe Jr.
