Graveside Service for Leah Beth Williams, 57, of Sisseton, SD will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sisseton Cemetery, Sisseton, SD with Pastor Patrick Jenkins officiating. Soloist will be Pastor Karie Geyer. Urn bearer will be Megan Hofland and Honorary Urn bearers will be Rebekkah Heminger, Daniel Williams, Rose Heminger, Diamond Williams, and the staff at Tekakwitha Living Center. Inurnment will be in the Sisseton Cemetery, Sisseton, SD. Social distancing and masks are required. The Cahill Funeral Chapel of Sisseton, SD is in charge of arrangements.

Leah passed on to the spirit world November 4, 2020 at Tekakwitha Living Center, Sisseton, SD.   Leah was born January 19, 1963 to Patricia (Monson) and Roger Hofland in Veblen, SD. She grew up in the rural Claire City area and started working at Coteau Des Prairies hospital at the age of 15. In 1985 she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. She worked at the Hospital for 25+ years until her MS prevented her from working. She loved to bake, sew, and do crossword puzzles and crafts. She loved going to church and spending time with her family. Leah always had a smile on her face and never complained of how her MS affected her. She was a strong woman and will be greatly missed by her loved ones.

She is survived by her daughter, Diamond Williams; her granddaughter Rebekkah Heminger; her father Roger Hofland; her longtime friend Daniel 'Butch' Williams and 4 brothers.

She is preceded in death by her son Joshua Lucas Hofland and her mother Patricia Hofland.
