LaTarian Lee White, 15, of Sisseton, SD passed away on October 23, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the SWO Community Center at Agency Village, SD. The Episcopal Lay Readers, LaVerne Blackthunder, and Pastor Vern Donnell will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Ives Eagle Jr., Benjamin Eagle, Jonathan Adams Jr., Ricky Hill, Jarrell Adams, Cadence Eagle, Chadwick Adams, and Caske Limon. Honorary pallbearers will be all of LaTarian's family, friends, and his classmates, Larry Finley III, Latrell Finley, Michael Pomani, and Cangleska Standing Elk. Interment will be in the St. Benedict's Cemetery, Sisseton, SD. There will be a wake service on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 7:00 PM with an all night wake on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 also starting at 7:00 PM all at the SWO Community Center, Agency Village, SD. The Cahill Funeral Chapel of Sisseton, SD is in charge of arrangements.
LaTarian was born on August 22, 2001 at Sisseton, SD to Loren White and Marcella Eagle. He grew up and attended school in Sisseton and was currently a freshman at Sisseton High School. He enjoyed woodshop, was a member of the SHS band, and was a football player. He enjoyed nature walks and listening to music, and collecting rocks. He enjoyed his free time hanging out and playing with cousins and brothers. LaTarian's favorite colors were blue and green, his favorite football team was the Green Bay Packers, and he loved eating pizza, spaghetti, chicken, yogurt, and fry bread.
