Funeral Service for Larse Elton Greeley, 59 of Rapid City, SD formerly of Sisseton, SD will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Long Hollow District Center with Fillmore Simon CRE officiating. Pallbearers will be Loren Greeley Sr., Loren Greeley, Jr., Emerson Mandan, Kevin Jones, Lindsey Bock, Andrew Bock, and James Pauly. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Larse's Family & Friends. Interment will be at the Mayasan Presbyterian Cemetery, with Military Rites by the American Legion Post #314. There will be an all night Wake Service on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Long Hollow District Center.
Larse Elton Greeley was born on December 2, 1954 at Sisseton, SD to Mary Greeley and Neil Holma. He attended school at St. Peter's Catholic School. Larse entered the United States Air force in January 1974 and served until January 1977. Following the service he lived in California where he worked as a bus driver. He moved to Nebraska in 2007 and then Rapid City in 2014. He enjoyed walking in the Park and visiting relatives. Larse passed away on May 15, 2014 in Rapid City, SD
Larse is survived by one sister, Peggy and husband, James Pauly of Kearney, NE; nieces and nephews, Cindy Greeley, Bonnie Greeley, Benita Petersen, and Loren Greeley.
Larse was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Greeley and Neil Holman; one brother Jeffery Cordell; and one sister, Donna Marie Kane.
