Celebration of Life Service for Kenneth LeRoy Solberg, 76, of Sisseton, SD will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the Sisseton Highrise Community Room, 123 E. Chestnut Street, Sisseton, SD from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Kenny was born on June 2, 1945 at Sisseton, SD to Walter and Lucille (Solin) Solberg. Along with his siblings Beverly, Keith, Sandi and David they grew up on the Solberg farm. Kenny graduated in 1964. He went on to do construction, trucking, bartending, farming and started a business in painting (Ken's Painting). He had many hobbies such as dancing, baking, cooking, shaking dice along with a beer, and watching his old westerns. He liked ice fishing, going to the casinos, and spending time with family and friends. Kenny loved many and was loved by many more. Kenny passed away on October 18, 2021 at Coteau Des Prairie Hospital, Sisseton, SD.

Kenny is survived by his daughter Camille (Solberg) White and William White of Sioux Falls, SD; grandson Cameron Bird and great grandchildren Trent of Sioux Falls, SD and Josiah and Malaya of South Shore, SD; sister Sandra (Solberg) Koch of Milbank, SD; brother David Solberg and Sandy Stickland of Sisseton, SD.   brother-in-law Gary Dickinson of Wheaton, MN; nieces and nephews Shawn Dickinson & Family of Remer, MN, Shane Dickinson & Family of Oakdale, MN, Denise Bedell & Family of Oltewah, TN, Dana & Tina Fordahl of Portland, OR, Lynn Solberg and Family of Watertown, SD, Lisa Solberg and Family of Sisseton, SD, and Lee and Katie Solberg of Sisseton,SD.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Lucille Solberg; sister Beverly (Solberg) Dickinson; brother Keith Solberg; sister-in-law Mary (Janisch) Solberg and nephew Lonnie Solberg.
