Funeral Service for Kenneth DuWayne Hill, Waci Kin Ohokida "respects his dance", 60, of Sisseton, SD will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Sisseton Wahpeton Community Center, Agency Village, SD with Pastor Milton Owen, John Cloud III, and Jr. Heminger officiating and pianist will be Billy Kohl. Casket bearer's will be Rayce Hill, Aron Hill, Durane DuBois, Sam DuBois, Anthony Frenier Jr., and Larry Keoke Jr. Honorary casket bearer's will be John Two Stars, Patrick Rondell, Randy White, Leonard Dumarce, Larry Nierson, Tim Parker, Lynelle Haug, and Patty Dumarce. Wake services will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 7:00pm and an all night wake service on Friday, August 24, 2018 at the community center. Interment followed at the Goodwill Presbyterian Cemetery, Agency Village, SD. Arrangements are being handled by Cahill Funeral Chapel of Sisseton, SD.

Kenneth DuWayne Hill - Waci Kin Ohokida (respects his dance) age 60 of Sisseton, SD went on to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on August 21, 2018 at his residence in Sisseton. Kenneth was born on November 12, 1957, the son of Richanda Marie Hill (Ho waste win). Kenneth lived in Sisseton for most of his life and worked at Schiltz for many years up until he couldn't work anymore because of the dreaded disease of cancer. Kenneth was a self taught quill maker, he learned how to quill by reading a book on quill work, he also did beadwork and did many quill and beadwork projects for people. Kenny enjoyed powwow dancing and started dancing by making his own traditional outfit. Kenny loved dancing and when dancing, danced in a very humble way which led to his dakotah name...Waci Kin Ohokida (respects his dance).

Kenneth is survived by two sons, Marcus Gene Hill and DuWayne Alan Hill both of Lake Vermillion, Tower MN. Five grandchildren, Emanual Hill- Duluth MN., Rayonah Hill-Bad River Odanah, WI, Benjamin Hill- Big Fork MN., Arrazhay Hill, Grand Forks, ND, and Nimoshe Hill-, Grand Forks, ND. Brothers Chaske Hill and wife Denise Hill of Sisseton, Richard Hill of Sisseton, Debra and husband James Brydon of Warroad, MN, Leslie Hill of Sisseton, Lisa Blew of Woonsocket, SD, Lenore and husband Jamie of Huron, SD, and Nancy and Husband Harry of Oxford, Pa. and sister Mona Rencounter of Ft. Thompson, SD, aunties Mavis Hill of Sisseton, and Christine Hill of Sisseton, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friend Mary Hill of Sisseton.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his mother Richanda Hill, grandparents Sam and Martha Hill, one baby sister, aunties Darlene Hill, Olivia Palacio, Kay Hill, Janice Hill, Evangeline Lesko, uncles John Hill, Wilbur Hill, Rueben Hill, and Dennis Fish.

A special thank you to Hospice nurses Kathy Johnson, Laura Frankenhoff, Tammy Langager and Chaplain John Miles for your support and help in making sure our brother was comfortable in his last days, very much appreciated.
