Funeral Mass for Justin Wayne Magnuson, 18, of Sisseton, SD, will be Monday, July 25, 2016
at 10:30 A.M. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Sisseton, SD. Celebrant will be Fr. Jerry Renek, Organist will be Steve Eneboe, Song leader will be Pat Schubert and Soloist Lehla Pietz. Pallbearers will be Jevon Skjonsberg, Dillon Solberg, Davey Ceroll, Jake Magnuson, Rod Magnuson, Tanner LaFromoise and Anthony Huntington. Special Honorary Pallbearers will be Allie Ceroll, Gracelynn Lekness, Joely Nyvold and CeeJay Helgeson. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Justin's family, friends, Teals co-workers and the Class of 2016. Visitation will be held Sunday at Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Sisseton, SD.
Justin was born on February, 6, 1998 in Fargo, ND to Duston and Kristi (Deutsch) Magnuson. He attended school in Sisseton and graduated from Sisseton High School in May 2016. Justin had planned on attending Lake Area Tech for Automotive because that is what his dad did and he wanted to be like his dad.
He was friendly and loving; greeted people with a warm smile that brightened your day. He loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, loved practical jokes and pulling tricks on friends and family. He loved loud pipes on his truck and to see who had the louder pipes. He was willing to learn and try new things and loved a challenge. Justin loved spending time with friends and family even just hanging out. Justin passed away on July 20, 2016 due to a motor vehicle accident.
Survived by his parents Dusty and Kristi Magnuson of Sisseton, SD; one sister Shaundra Magnuson of Watertown, SD; great grandmother Agnes Magnuson of Sisseton, SD; grandpa Allen Lekness of Sisseton, SD; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Justin was proceeded in death by his grandparents Shorty and Sally Deutsch; grandmother Kathy Magnuson; grandparents Ervin and Bernice Lekness; great grandfather Quintin Magnuson.
