Julian Lee Oliger was born on July 20, 1993 in Aberdeen, SD to Dr. Karl Oliger and Laura (Bagola) Small. Julian is the grandson of Joe and Kathy White and the late Russell Oliger. Julian was named after his two uncles "Julian" from his late uncle on his dad's side Julian Mendoza and "Lee" after his uncle on his mother's side Mario Lee Bagola. Julian spent his younger childhood with his mommy in North Dakota and Watertown, SD and his older childhood years and teenage years were spent with his dad in various places like Georgia and Florida, while his dad finished his education career. They finally settled in Bloomington, Illinois. It was there in Bloomington that Julian became an avid and great wrestler. Julian made it to nationals twice in his High school wrestling career. He absolutely loved to wrestle. Always asking someone to wrestle. He owned that floor. His biggest inspiration was Coach Gardner. He then came back to Watertown, SD his senior year and graduated from Watertown High School in 2011. After High School Julian spent some time incarcerated and it was there he first met his special uncles, Marlo White and Raymond Marcus. During this time he also met Sydney (Hoffman) Oliger and they were joined in marriage on February 11, 2018, from this union his daughter was born Chandler Bohdi Wolf Oliger on April 26, 2019. Chandler was his world and meant everything to him. After she was born, everything he did he did for his princess and his wife. Julian, like many children, grew up with two families. His Oliger and Bloomington families and his Native American family from Sisseton, SD. Julian was very proud of his heritage and was a member of the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate and a member of Big Coulee District. Julian had many friends and always loved to make people laugh. Julian also loved to dance and would just randomly bust out a move or just hanging out with his "brothers". But, he always kept those certain brothers close to his heart, Alex Montreal, Vance Thompson, Ray Montreal, Chris Graham, Jerome Franken, Chris Christianson Jr., Julian Johnson, his special uncle Eric Walker and Missy "Miffy" Roden, and important friend Victor Dotson. Julian passed away on January 21, 2023 at Sanford Hospital Vermillion, SD.
