Funeral Mass for Judy Tohm, 75 of Sisseton, SD will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Sisseton, SD with Fr. Jerry Ranek celebrant. Organist will be Cindy Marohl and Song leader will be Sandi Jaspers. Urnbearer will be Devin Tohm and Honorary Urnbearers will be all of Judy's children, grandchildren, family, and Edna Prebish.  There will be visitation on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at St. Peter's Catholic Church from 10:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M.  The Cahill Funeral Chapel of Sisseton, South Dakota is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Judith was born October 11, 1943 in Sisseton, SD to Orin and Anna Iverson.  Judith attended school in Sisseton.  She spent much of her younger years helping around the family home, taking care of her parents and spending time with family and many cousins.  Judy met Richard Tohm in the spring of 1969.  They were united in marriage on April 14, 1971.  She was a lifetime member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church.  She and Richard enjoyed many activities together including square dancing, playing cards with friends, camping, gardening, and most of all raising two children.  Judy loved having beautiful flowers during the summer.  She loved all of her many pets throughout the years.  Going for rides were enjoyed as often as possible as she never had the desire to learn to drive herself.  Judy loved her children with all of her heart.  Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren.  She couldn't have been more proud of them.  Judy was a quiet simple lady but one of the sweetest you'd ever find.  Judith passed away at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND on April 13, 2019.

Judith is survived by her son Gerald Tohm of Sisseton, SD; daughter Sharnell Tohm of Browns Valley, MN; grandchildren Devin (Morgan) Tohm, Hunter Ryan, William Ryan Jr., Ashley Tohm, and David Tohm and stepson Todd (Denise) Tohm.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter-in-law Caitlin Fox Tohm, and one brother as a child Gerald Iverson.
